Indy 500 is Just a Day Away – the Track is Heating Up

Indy 500 Will Heat the Track Tomorrow

Indy 500 will feature some of the best race drivers in the world. Tomorrow you will see Scott Dixon, Ed carpenter and Alexander Rossi taking off from Row 1. They will be followed by such names as Tony Kanaan, Marco Andretti, Ryan Hunter-Reay, Juan Pablo Montoy, Helio Castroneves and the newest lady on the track, Pippa Mann. The Indianapolis Motor Speedway will see the green flag wave at approximately 12:17 pm.

Who Will Win the 101st Indy?

The winner will be _________. Last year rookie Alexander Rossi defied all odds as he crossed the finish line at 50 mph as he stretched his fuel tank by coasting. This year Rossi is one of the favorites to win the Indy again. Those betting on the winner are also taking a serious look at Fernando Alonso. He has been gaining a great deal of media attention around the world. Two other contenders include Takuma Soto and Marco Andretti. They are both strong drivers and they have come very close to winning in the past. Others are closely watching former winners Scott Dixon and Tony Kanaan.

There is no doubt that the 101st is packed with strong drivers and just about anyone can win.

For those race fans who cannot watch enough you will have about 12 hours of racing to see on Sunday starting with the Monaco Grand Prix;  followed by the Indy 500; and ending with the Coca-Cola 600 in the evening.
