Like you and I, celebrities have some strange things about them that many of us do not know – you might call them celebrity secrets. Let’s begin with singer Harry Styles. He has a condition called ‘polythelia.’ He says, “It’s a thing.” “The thing” is that he has four nipples instead of two. And actor Ashton Kutcher has a condition known as ‘syndactyly.’ He actually presented his ‘difference’ on a British talk show. Ashton has a case of webbed toes.
Celebrities Like Tom Hanks
Rebel Wilson caught malaria during a trip to South Africa. During her fighting with the sickness, she had a hallucination of winning an Oscar. It is believed this was brought on by the medications she was on to fight malaria. Anyway, after her hallucination, she decided to make it a real-life pursuit. Actor and Oscar winner Tom Hanks has an unusual collection. During his career, he has collected more than 100 vintage typewriters. He also wrote a book of short stories, and each one featured a typewriter.
While giving an interview on “The Late Late Show,” Oprah Winfrey, a celebrity of celebrities, revealed that she has a marble and onyx hand-carved bathtub. The expensive tub is shaped like her body. It is also large enough so it can hold another person. James Lipton, the host of “Inside the Actors Studio,” lived in Paris during the 1950s. He told “Parade” that he worked as a pimp during that time. He explained that pimps in France did not exploit sex workers, but acted more as their “agents.” He said, “It was a great year of my life.”
The Obamas Are Included
Many graduating students are faced with student loans that stick with them for many years to come. Barack and Michelle Obama were no different. They didn’t finish paying off their student loans until 2004, which was just a few years before Barack won the presidency. They were 42 and 40 years old, respectively. Miley Cyrus was not born with that name, although she was called Miley since she was a baby. However, her original give name was Destiny Hope Cyrus. When she was 15, assisted by her parents, she legally changed her name.
When Meghan Markle was just an ordinary citizen making a living, she did so by doing calligraphy for wedding invitations. One of the unique invitations she created was in 2005 for the wedding of Paula Patton and Robin Thicke. As the host of a unique talk show, Jerry Springer was the mayor of Cincinnati, Ohio, between 1977 and 1978. In more recent times, Springer has considered throwing in his hat and running for Ohio governor. If you think that Justin Timberlake and Ryan Gosling were just performers on “The Mickey Mouse Club,” think again. Timberlake’s mom became Gosling’s legal guardian after his mom had to return to Canada for work. They lived together and even shared a bathroom. Finally, there is the actor Jake Gyllenhaal. One of the families’ close friends was Paul Newman. It was reported that Newman gave Gyllenhaal a driving lesson or two.
Celebrities aren’t really much different than you and I – although their bank account probably has a few more bucks.
