Losing, Recount, Rejection, Frustration
It appears as though reality is settling in and Bill and Hillary Clinton are both having difficulties accepting it. After years of having major roles in the government they are now tasting the bitter rejection from the American people. Issues with the recount, the election results and the future have left the couple dazed and dumbfounded according to close associates.
The latest upset stems from Wisconsin’s Dane County Circuit Judge Valerie Bailey-Rihn as she has refused to order local officials to conduct the state’s presidential recount by hand, saying that Green Party candidate Jill Stein’s theory of Russians hacking voting equipment had zero evidence. Another setback comes from Pennsylvania, where Stein’s team missed a major deadline to officially file for a voter-initiated recount, according to The Washington Examiner. The newspaper went on to report, “That blown deadline is a huge blow for Democrats who have pinned their hopes on recounts in the Keystone State, Michigan, and Wisconsin.”
The latest events, in addition to the stunning loss Hillary faced, seems to indicate that the Clinton empire has begun to unravel. It was reported, in early November, when poll numbers started shifting toward President-elect Donald Trump, that the Clinton’s had an intense screaming match while talking on the telephone. Both Clinton’s apparently blamed each other for the failing campaign.
It has also been reported that the Clinton’s are looking at their daughter, Chelsea, hoping that she will enter the political arena one day in the future. They still have hope!
